Feed adjustment while image printing
Figure 1 shows the flow of this disclosure. The printer microcode takes the logical 'OR' of the image of printing horizontally when the print data is an image command. Then the printer microcode searches the vertical discontinuity of the image from the logical 'OR' and saves the result. The printer microcode increase or reduce the length of a line feed if there is a blank vertically and the adjustment of feed is required. If the image is separated into two parts by a vertical discontinuity, and the adjustment of feed is required, the printer microcode divides the image into two (upper and lower) parts. The printer prints the upper part, adjusts the feed, then prints the lower part.
