Background of the Invention

A popular use of the cell phone is for texting. In this case one needs to use a key pad to send messages. The concept of sending handwritten messages has not appeared in the market place; however, kids can do this on their Gameboy units. They can draw on their touch screens and share the images via bluetooth. This gives them hours of fun but is limited in distance (due to the Bluetooth connection). It has potential to move to adults as well with the use of touch pads on cell phones or on eTablets or, say, an integrated cell phone (computer) and eTablet with a touch pad.

Description of the Invention

The device invention is an extension of the content capturing cholesteric writing tablet where it is applied to mobile handset devices. This small writing tablet with a touch screen enables the user to capture small graphical files as an advanced "Twitter" or text message. In much the same way people share pictures or text messages over from phone-to-phone or phone-to-computer, this will enable a new way to share hand written messages (much more personal) or pictures. The files would be small and the tablet would be thin and low cost to add to the mobile phone device. Further, this device also enables personalization and a note pad for hand note...
