The job may be of various predefined types such as an application, a component and so forth. Any employee, who is currently unutilized, may view the work request and sign up for the job. The employee signing up for the job takes ownership of the job and completes it. Once the job is complete, the employee who created the job reviews the completed job and provides feedback on the job. This feedback may then be used during performance evaluation of the employee who completed the job. Further, the time spent by the employee on the job may be used to calculate the utilization of the employee

ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE

[0002]             A platform for exchanging work is disclosed. The platform includes a portal through which any employee in an organization places a work request by creating a job. The job may be of various predefined types such as an application, a component and so forth. Any employee, who is currently unutilized, may view the work request and sign up for the job. The employee signing up for the job takes ownership of the job and completes it. Once the job is complete, the employee who created the job reviews the completed job and provides feedback on the job. Environment 100 includes a job creator 102, a work exchange platform 104 and a job performer 106. Job creator 102 creates a job and places a work request for the job on work exchange platform 104. Job performer 106 signs up for the job through work exchange platform 104.
