The tool is shown in the attached document. In the first picture the single cycle tool (SCT) is able to flow, therefore the fluid is deviated by the KOIV in the Shroud, back in the Perforated Pup Joint, in line with the tubing (not in the annulus, as the SCT normally does). When a pre-determined flow rate is established, the SCT is activated and closes the micro-annulus, plugging the upper section of the string, and allowing to set any pressure activated tool that might be used above. After this phase, the KOIV is broken with pressure, re-establishing the communication between upper and lower section.
