Means to run one or more capillary tube onto the basepipe of a sand screen product. Capillary tube could then later be filled with one or more fibers for sensing (strain, temperature, pressure, or as chemical injection line Make a helical cut out shape along the length of the perforated basepipe, deep enough that the capillary tube OD could sit entirely in this cut out. Secure the capillary tube into this cut out either by means of expoxy or by brazing a thin cover material over the cut out, to protect and secure the capillary tube. This capillary tube could then later be filled with fiber(s) for various sensing application
