Method and system for managing Uniform Resource Locator (URLs)/attachments embedded in an email. The method involves identifying URLs/attachments embedded in one or more emails selected by a user. Thereafter, a list containing the identified URLs/attachments is displayed to the user. One or more URLS/attachments from the list may be accessed by the user as per the need without even opening the one or more emails.

The figure illustrates an exemplary implementation for the method and system as disclosed herein.

As shown in the figure, in order to access/view one or more URLs/attachments embedded in one or more emails, the user selects one or more emails which may possibly contain the URLs/attachments. The user may select the one or more emails without even opening the emails. Once the one or more emails are selected, the user may select 'Open URLs'/ 'Open Attachments' option provided in the mail client. Thereafter, the one or more emails are parsed by the email client to identify URLs/attachments that are embedded in the one or more emails. The existing methods for identifying URLs/attachments in an email may be employed to execute
