Method for controlling mail notifications based on instant messaging status

The current mailing systems are based on collaboration of mailing system with Instant messaging.But the collaboration system is not utilized properly to control the mail notifications.

Due to the disconnect between these two systems, all new mail notification will be triggered regardless of the instant messaging status. Presently there is no solution available which will control mail notifications based on the instant messaging status.

Disclosed method is based on the method of controlling the mail notification based on the "Mail Notification Rules" set by the user.

Step 1- User B enables "Mail Notification" option by selecting "Enable Mail Notification based on Instant Messaging Status" through "Preferences". (Note - User A is Mail sender and User B is the recipient.)

User can customize the default settings for Mail Notification and also add new settings. (as shown in the figure given below)
