Users can also track their orders. mFlower integrates with devices address book and provides reminders and alerts at various occasions.

Background

[0002]Traditionally, a user has to order the flower for their loved ones either by visiting the shop or using their desktop. The process is tedious and the customer either needs to go in person to order the flower or use a computer.

[0005]Fast and easy way to order flowers on the go using application mobile device. Customer can get a special selection of best selling flowers for various occasions. Customer get a streamlined experience and checkout. Customer can get the directions to the destination . Customer can also track their orders. Customer can set alerts for important dates and can order in up to an year in advance. Customer can make payment using credit card. The invention will give the customer a hassle free experience from ordering to billing to tracking the flower orders.

Details about each requirement are mentioned below:

[0011]Application installable should be hosted on the flower vendor's website or an Application Store. Application should be also be possible to activate over the air (OTA) by sending an SMS message to short code. Application hosting portal should allow user to select which version of mobile application needs to be downloaded based on the model and make type of mobile device.


[0012]Un-Installation

[0013]On deletion of mFlowers, all data stored by the application on the phone memory/ SD card should get deleted along with the application delete.

[0015]On first time startup of application after its installation, it should ask user following information as a process to get his preferences. Existing user account id or use of guest user account and mobile number of user for the purpose of unique v/s repeated user tracking, If user does not have an account, it should route the user to create new user account, Sender's physical address, Recipients name and their address along with relationship with those recipients, Setting up the reminder dates for various occasions attached to recipients, Preferred payment mode i.e. credit card, deb...
