Method and System for Enabling a User to Access Video Content for an Event
Disclosed is a method and system for enabling a user to access video content for an event. Fig. 1 illustrates a user entering a venue where the event is held. The user registers the mobile device with a central server. Registration of the mobile device can be done using an eticket barcode. For example, a user having an eticket for the event may display a barcode of the eticket for scanning. On entering the venue premises the barcode is scanned and the user is registered. Alternatively, the user may send a text message to a specified number such as "5XXXX5" to register the mobile device for the event at the venue.
Once the mobile device of user is registered, the user is granted access to video content of the event. The video content may be from the past or real-time. The views of the video content may be chosen from all camera angles during a time frame of the event within a configurable radius as illustrated in fig 2. For example, user 1 may choose video content from camera 1, user 2 may choose from camera 2 and user 3 may choose from camera 1. Thereafter, on completion of the event, access to the video by the user is terminated.
