ABSTRACT
The invention relates to a polarity detector pen that comprises one or more tension or compression springs, permanent magnet, a pen body having one inspection window to read the polarity.
FIELD
The invention relates to a magnetic polarity detector pen, having a pen tip to facilitate writing of the magnet polarity.
BACKGROUND
Magnets have two poles, namely North pole and South pole.
In some application, the magnet-polarity must be identified and written, on the magnet surface, to facilitate correct use of the magnets.
In present practice there are methods to identify the polarity, one of which is described below.Fig. 1 Pole identifier Fig. 2 Pole identifier displaying polarity
The operator checks the polarity and marks on the magnet surface with separate marking device.
Here during writing, there is a possibility that, operator write wrong value or turns the surface of the magnets.
OBJECTS
It is an object of the invention to provide polarity detector pen, such that, use of separate writing pen is eliminated. Also when the pen-tip is pointing towards the magnets, polarity is indicated, and hence there is no probability that, operator can write wrong value. Present pole-detectors need power in form of DC cell; this device operates without any power.
SUMMARY
Accordingly, the invention provides polarity detector pen, that comprises one writing pen-tip, permanent magnet and compression springs. All these elements are housed inside the pen body.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
