Abstract (English)
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely catch ground surface wind and improve wind power generation efficiency by providing a windmill for generation at the inside, providing a vertically erected cylindrical wind tunnel and revolving a rotor within the wind tunnel by deflecting ground surface wind hit on a deflecting device provided at the lower part of this wind tunnel and guiding ground surface wind within the wind tunnel.
SOLUTION: At the time of a generation operation, the wind direction of ground surface wind is detected by a control circuit and a deflecting device 2 is revolved so as to face a guide surface of the deflecting device 2 with ground surface wind. Ground surface wind hit on the guide surface of this deflecting device 2 is deflected upward by the guide surface and is incorporated within a wind tunnel 1 from a lower end opening 1c of the wind tunnel 1. Within the wind tunnel 1, air current is compressed at a part of a necked part 1b, a rotor R is revolved by wind power energy at the time and a generator connected with a shaft of a rotor R is driven. Because the direction of wind always turns upward within the wind tunnel 1 and the rotor R and the generator are not required to be revolved according to an azimuth of ground surface wind by this wind tunnel device, the structure can be simplified.
