InnovationQ+ June 7 Release: More Precision for Litigation and Claims Research
Litigation research moves fast, and the margin for missing a relevant case or claim is thin. The June 7 InnovationQ+ release adds new filtering and search tools built specifically for that pressure: more precise litigation Boolean filters, improved search history exports, and expanded claims syntax options.
The June 7 release adds tools aimed specifically at that pressure. On the litigation side, Boolean filtering now includes six new parameters: Case Date, Case Parties, Case Status, PTAB Type, Court Type, and Case Identifiers, giving researchers more precise ways to scope results before diving in. Once you’re in a document, the Litigation tab now surfaces richer case details, including abstracts, summaries, judgment summaries, outcomes, and associated products where available, so you spend less time toggling between InnovationQ+ and external sources to get a complete picture of a dispute.
For claims-focused research, the Classic Syntax filter adds two new fields: ICL for known independent claims and DCL for known dependent claims. The existing CL field continues to search across all claims in both Standard Boolean and Classic Syntax filters. Search history exports have also been updated to a tabular PDF format, making it easier to organize, share, and reference prior search activity, particularly in litigation and FTO contexts where a clear record of your research process matters.
This release also adds a Compact Results option in the multi-panel display for a cleaner results view.
